So here’s the story behind this fabulous wedding weekend:
Weathers really wanted an intimate, family-only wedding on Friday at Lake Martin, the place where she spent most of her childhood. Her family’s dock is full of memories, and she wanted to make another really special one at the same location: marrying Thomas. The now-Rollings (!!!) married mid-afternoon with the sun beaming down, complete with their closest friends and immediate families, and it was a ceremony full of touching moments! Her Dad officiated the ceremony and her brother received her with a smile as she walked down the aisle to her groom.
Storm clouds threatened during the day, but we made it without a drop of rain falling on us – a true miracle! Weathers and Thomas had contagious smiles as they finally made vows to one another against a gorgeous backdrop. Don’t even try to convince me that the golf course looked like Wales or Ireland, especially when you see the picture with the rock face!
The next day, everrrrrryone was present at the Birmingham Zoo as the Rollings celebrated their MARRIAGE! We fed giraffes, rode a carousel, cheered them out with American flags and had a blast enjoying friends’ company. I’m so glad these two are married and I’m thrilled to share allll the fun from this day!
