Photographing proposals never gets old. The anticipation, nervous excitement, and rush of realization feels fresh and new every time I witness it! I was honoured when Corey reached out to inquire about capturing this moment, and loved seeing the joy on each of their faces in these photos.
Shoutout to Corey for being an incredible boyfriend and coming up with the best surprise for Morgan! They both graduated from Birmingham Southern College, and the campus means a lot to them, making it the ideal location for a celebratory “5th anniversary photoshoot” (wink, wink). Five years together is an awesome achievement, and Morgan thought this session was such a sweet gift from Corey. Little did she know, it would turn into a proposal!
Corey, Morgan and I even had an entire phone call the week before to discuss poses and outfit options. Morgan had no idea that Corey and I had already discussed it all when we went to tour the campus a few days before! Personally, I think Corey and I deserve an award for our acting performances.
After our session, the surprises didn’t stop. Corey and Morgan’s friends and family met them at Monday Night Brewing for an engagement party! Their dog even made an appearance!
