There are few things I love more than secretly photographing proposals. Something about hiding in the bushes and trying not to make any noise while also making sure I’ve got the perfect angle really brings out the detective in me (please do not reach out for your private investigator needs, that would not go well).

Regardless, as I got myself settled in my bush and finalized my camera settings, I couldn’t help but be overjoyed for Ainsley who had absolutely no idea how her life was about to change. And neither could the adorable golden retriever who stopped the couple for some pets on their way to the top of the hill…

Trey and Ainsley have been dating since high school and the two have been inseparable ever since. Like I said, Ainsley truly had no idea this proposal was coming. Trey told her they were going to a work event and somehow managed to color coordinate his outfit with hers without her realizing! Go Trey!

Once the shock wore off, we took a bit of time to capture some sweet couples portraits. The weather was perfect, the sun was setting and everything just felt right. 

I couldn’t be more excited for these two, and I can’t wait to see where the Lord leads them on this new journey! Next up, planning that wedding!!!
