Trip to New York City

NEW YORK, NEW YOOOOORK!!!!!

I couldn’t get this song out of my head over the four-day weekend in NYC. I went to visit my very first and best friend from college, the illustrious Abi Benke. We had a ball walking around the Big Apple, gazing into impeccable sunsets and chatting about hopes, dreams, practical daily life, memories, feelings (we’re both enneagram fours… who’s surprised?!) and scripture. Abi is one of those people I can immediately let down my guard with and be real. She listens intently and she’s compassionate.

The trip was relaxing, yet we packed a lot in to our days! We ate breakfast at her apartment every day and took it slow in the mornings. Then, we went to dinner in the evenings and took our time strolling. This was the itinerary!
