At the University of Alabama, senior portraits are a must. On any given morning in March or April, campus is absolutely flooded with grads and their accompanying photographers. It can be a bit of a battleground at times, but with some extra patience, the results are so very worth it!
Shay Hill will be graduating from UA this May, and was so excited to celebrate her achievement with this grad session. Naturally, we met up on the infamous Walk of Champions to begin. Plus, her sorority little joined us for a few to help cheer Shay on!
Next stop was the President’s Mansion and Denny Chimes, arguably two of the most gorgeous backdrops on campus. No, I haven’t explored it all, but I know these two will be tough to beat (especially with all the spring flowers in bloom!).
Originally from California, Shay plans to move back after graduation to pursue a career in sales. She was incredibly kind and a precious conversationalist, so I have no doubt in my mind she will achieve whatever she sets her mind to!
We ended on the Walk of Champions once more to pop some champagne and soak in the celebration! It was such an honour to photograph Shay and mark this well-earned achievement. I wish her all the best throughout the rest of the semester and know the future holds great things for this girl!
