The Glimpse: March 2022

This month I worked with incredible people!

Two weddings, five engagement sessions and multiple shoots for Samford University. I spent a lot of time on top of the city – on parking decks and up at Crest Road – and I never regret it. The sunsets this month were UNREAL and I’m so thankful to live in a place where I can watch the sun dip below the horizon. What a gift.

This month my sister got married!

The weekend flew by and honestly got us all sick afterward 😂 but it was worth it to see the joy on Sarah’s face! We spent time with English relatives, divided up the spoils of English candy (a real legal process in our household), got the worst manicures of our lives and ended the reception with “Do The Propeller” by the Wiggles because we’re kinda obsessed with our niece and nephews and seeing their faces LIGHT UP was something I’ll always remember. You can catch the blog here!

Like I mentioned, I saw some *perfect* views this month.

Samford and Crest Road literally never fail to make me breathe a sigh of relief. I can just rest, soak in the fresh air and find inspiration every time.

This month I got to hug my littles!

I’m PUMPED to go to the beach with them at the end of April – Brynlee, Joshua and I will be hanging at the beach while their parents will be at a conference – and I would basically choose time with them over most anything these days. Aren’t they the best?!

This month I shot soooo many fun sessions.

Lots of giggles, so much sun, a good Apple watch tan and me squealing out my car window on my drive home. If you don’t think my job is just fun, think again 😉 There are challenging parts, sure, but it’s the greatest job in the world and I loved spending time with these people!

And, finally, I got some good time with friends.

I’ve slacked on taking pictures with friends the past year because I’ve wanted to be fully present. So I now let other people insist on them on my behalf 😂 This month entailed a lot of walks, a lot of time on the quad and a lot of FaceTime!
