You’re Invited! A Guide to Creating a Memorable Invitation Suite

Your invitation suite is the first glimpse into your wedding day that guests will see! It’s an easy way to set the tone for the kind of event you’re creating. I know how much effort can go into creating a beautiful invitation suite, and I’m sure you want yours to be special and bring a smile to your guests’ faces! So, I’ve compiled a short guide on creating a memorable invitation suite!

Tie in your wedding colors

Your invitation suite can allow guests imagine what your wedding will look like! Picking a design or style that reflects the vibe of your wedding can help them get extra excited to attend! One way to achieve that excitement is by tying in your wedding colors. Make the whole event one cohesive color palette, down to the smallest details! The suite below had the same color and style of florals that the couple used on their wedding day!

Pick the right font

It’s funny how something so minute can have such and intense effect. Take a look at the difference between the two invitation suites below. They both send two completely different messages about the awesome party you’re throwing!

Link your wedding website

If you haven’t already, I 100% recommend creating a wedding website as a one-stop-shop for all your guests with questions about your wedding. Additionally, it’s a great idea to include the link to this wedding website on either your Save The Dates (if you have them) or on your wedding invitation! You could even generate a unique QR code for your guests to scan that takes them straight there!

Include a physical RSVP card if possible

With the rise of wedding websites, there has been a steady decline in physical RSVP cards. Most websites allow guests to RSVP online, which is always an easy, convenient option! However, I do still love to fill out and send a physical RSVP card! It’s an extra expense, (don’t forget the stamp!) but one that adds to the experience.

Add a personal touch

This suggestion is vague for a reason: every couple is different and unique in their own way! Add a wax seal with your logo on it. Add personalized stamps or hand-sign your signature at the bottom of the invitation. Include a note saying how excited you are to see and celebrate each and every one of your guests. The possibilities are endless on this one, but any personal touch you choose will add to the beauty of the invitation. The suite below is from Minted. Check out their website for more invitation inspo!
