Ryan + Kellee: Prince of Peace and Haven

I accompanied Kellee and Ryan allll over the city of Birmingham for this fun wedding day! We started out downtown where I captured all the pretty details and photographed Kellee’s first look with her bridesmaids!

Next, we hopped in the car and drove to the Preserve in Hoover, AL for Kellee and Ryan’s first look as well as some fun group photos with family and their awesome bridal party! It was almost unbearably hot, but we kept fans on ourselves whenever we could and remembered to stay hydrated.

As we passed by the pool at the Preserve, Kellee and Ryan received shouts of congratulations! Turns out it’s kind of strange to see half-naked people walking out of the pool while you’re in full wedding attire. I think most of us were just so hot that we wished we could join them!

Kellee and Ryan had the sweetest families. We captured Kellee’s first look with her father and some other group photos with the whole crew before heading for the A/C at Prince of Peace!

Kellee and Ryan took a breather before they said “I do.” I took that time to capture some sweet moments of them and their families before their lives changed forever!

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Kellee and Ryan couldn’t have looked more excited to be up there committing their lives to each other. The crowd cheered for them as they recessed, and Ryan tripped over Kellee’s wedding dress as they walked out! I hope they get a good laugh out of those photos hahaha!

We continued our drive around Birmingham by heading back to the Pedestrian Bridge and taking some absolutely gorgeous sunset photos. This was by far my favorite part of the day! It was just the three of us, and Kellee and Ryan were truly glowing. All of the weight from the day was finally off their shoulders!

Our final stop for the night was Haven, one of the coolest reception spots downtown. All the guests were so excited to welcome Kellee and Ryan to the party! They had an absolute blast celebrating all night with the people they love most. They had Hawaiian leis, light-up rings and a photo booth – the party truly rocked!

This was SUCH a fun day, and I have to thank all of the other awesome vendors that made it possible! You guys rock!
