Ravenswood Mansion is a venue for the Nashville Bride who’s looking for historical charm, versatility, and a touch of Southern elegance that makes each event uniquely memorable. Built in 1825, Ravenswood Mansion is a historic home currently owned by the City of Brentwood (it’s celebrating its 200th birthday in 2025!). The home has a rich history, and I’d encourage you to learn more on the venue’s website! But it didn’t start hosting weddings and events until after its restoration from 2010 to 2015. The City of Brentwood worked hard to bring the home back to its former glory, and the results are nothing short of magnificent!

These days, the home is a common spot for holiday parties, rehearsal dinners, baby showers, and of course, weddings!

Most receptions occur beneath a rented tent on the outdoor patio. The space seats 250-300 guests, and the venue provides chairs for up to 150 guests.  Additionally, if your event has 80 guests or fewer, they can all be seated inside the home! The home has plenty of space for the bridal party and family to get ready on a wedding day, including a gorgeous all pink bridal suite and an additional suite featuring a brand new hair & makeup bar! The pink room is this photographers dream. I’m already thinking about all the bridal portrait potential!

Your rental includes use of the entire property as well as an on-site venue representative to assist with any day-of needs. Additionally, the venue requires the use of a wedding planner/coordinator, ensuring the bride and groom are thoroughly supported on their wedding day. Coordinators always help make the day run smoother, so this is a requirement I can 100% get behind!

Ravenswood Mansion doesn’t demand the use of any particular vendor (though they do have recommendations if you find yourself struggling). This means you get to cater your vendor team exactly to your needs and fill it with people you trust. Set your day up for success by finding vendors that love you as much as you love their work!

We’re so thankful to the management at Ravenswood Mansion for allowing us to visit and for providing an incredible tour of their venue.
