Annie + Mark: St. Luke’s Episcopal and The Club

On October 28th, 2023, I had the honour of capturing the love, laughter and unique moments that made Annie and Mark’s wedding day truly one-of-a-kind!

Annie, the epitome of a chill bride, radiated happiness and warmth throughout the day. From the moment I arrived that morning, she was relaxed and enjoying her time getting ready alongside her best friends.

The day began at the beautiful St. Luke’s Episcopal Church! Annie grew up going to church there, and was so excited to have that piece of her childhood surrounding her as she married Mark.

Their first look with each other was so touching, and we had a blast exploring the grounds afterwards for portraits. We even found a few spots that Annie hadn’t seen before!

When Annie told me that she chose “paprika, peach and terracotta” for her colour palette, I couldn’t help but be excited! The bridesmaid dresses, in particular, were a beautiful take on some vibrant fall colours.

If you look realllll close, you might be able to notice all the groomsmen wearing bat-shaped cuff links! It was Mark’s way of celebrating Halloween at their wedding!

Annie and Mark’s ceremony was absolutely beautiful, and they left the church with the sweetest smiles on their faces. Those two were radiating joy, and it was so contagious!

And then we were off to The Club! The reception venue was decorated so beautifully and highlighted some of the most vibrant pink lillies I had ever seen! The room exuded a whimsical charm that perfectly complimented Annie and Mark’s personalities.

Before joining the rest of the guests, we made use of the tiniest last bit of sunlight! I can’t shoot at The Club without capturing that stunning city backdrop.

Annie’s bridesmaids executed one of the funniest moments I’ve ever captured at a reception! They emerged wearing red mustaches and some of them even wore red wigs to imitate Mark! Their prank had everyone in the room laughing, including the groom.

Additionally, to honor Mark’s heritage, they included a Polish dessert table offering guests a sweet taste of Poland! The guests loved every bite, and it was so fun to learn a bit more about his family!
