Hollie + Jeffrey: The Glass House Venue

November 4, 2023 was practically perfect. I arrived to The Glass House Venue that morning and could already feel the excitement in the air! As Hollie chatted with her bridesmaids, had her makeup done and got dressed, her smile never left her face.

Just two weeks prior, three of Hollie and Jeffrey’s grandparents had either passed away or were hospitalized. Naturally, this took an emotional toll on much of their family, and the absence of those cherished family members was painful. Nevertheless, Hollie and Jeffrey’s resilience and love prevailed.

Rather than dwelling on that pain, they embraced the day for what it was: an eternal commitment to one another. Their happiness was contagious, and brought joy to their family even in an incredibly dark time.

The Glass House Venue and its gorgeous landscape could not have been more stunning! The weather was perfect, and I had a blast running around in the falling leaves with the wedding party and just enjoying the beautiful day!

Hollie’s entrance down the aisle was a real tearjerker as her brother proudly walker her towards her future. That, combined with the breathtaking backdrop!? It was truly an honour to witness!

The intimate ceremony was nothing short of perfect, and featured Jeffrey’s father as the officiant! This personal touch added a unique element, and made it all the more special as Hollie and Jeffrey committed their lives to each other.

If you haven’t noticed already, Hollie and Jeffrey kind of have a thing for “thumbs up.” It’s a bit of an inside joke between them, and it’s spread throughout their family. Now, it’s a natural reaction that suits just about any situation, and I think it’s absolutely hilarious!

As we ventured out for some sunset photos before joining guests for the reception, I couldn’t help but snap a few photos of their iconic pose.

Once the dance floor opened, it was alive with energy! Hollie’s infectious enthusiasm was evident as she jumped and danced with Jeffrey all night long! They had so much fun celebrating with their guests, and truly didn’t want the night to end.

Photographing the Bolan’s wedding was the greatest honour, and I wish them the best of luck as they embark on this exciting new journey together!
