Lorraine + Daniel: The Glass House Venue

Friends, believe me when I say that Lorraine and Daniel’s wedding day was truly something special. It was overflowing with love, happy tears, heartfelt moments and the most stunning scenery. I am beyond excited to share some of the highlights with you all!

These two have been together for seven years. Seven! It’s an understatement to say they were more than ready for this day to come. From the moment I arrived that morning, the anticipation in the air was palpable!

The weather was nothing short of perfect, and the Glass House Venue provided an enchanting backdrop for the entire day of celebration. If you follow me, you know I can’t resist experimenting with light during my sessions, so this venue was a bit of a playground for me!

Lorraine and her bridesmaids got ready together throughout the morning and were later joined by her flower girls. The two young girls were entranced by Lorraine’s dress, and I got some of the sweetest photos of them tending to it before Lorraine put it on!

After putting on her dress, we set up Lorraine’s dad and three brothers for their first look! I think it’s so sweet when brides involve their siblings in the first look. Sibling is love is some of the best love!

And now, after SEVEN years of love, memories and commitment, it was time for Lorraine and Daniel to get married!!! Their intimate ceremony had around 50 people in attendance, which was the perfect number for creating a warm and loving atmosphere.

The Glass House looked stunning with the sheer, ethereal white draping and all that light streaming through the windows. And the florals!!! Oh, the florals were absolutely breathtaking. This wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful!

After the ceremony, we captured wedding party and family photos on the beautiful grounds of the venue. Even though the ceremony was over, the buzz of excitement never left! Every single friend and family member was smiling, cheering or crying happy tears for Lorraine and Daniel.

Then, we approached one of my favorite moments from the day. Lorraine, Daniel and I ventured out to the bluff for some outdoor photos. They finally had a chance to breathe, soak in the stunning views, and just be in the moment together.

These photos capture the raw emotion and incredible connection they share. It was so evident that they are head over heels in love, and it made my job as their photographer an absolute joy.

If it’s not already obvious, Lorraine and Daniel are incredibly thoughtful and selfless people. It was so heartwarming to see them take the time during their reception to say hello and give thank-you notes to each and every guest who had come to share in their journey. Their kindness and appreciation for their loved ones shone through every interaction.

Toasts have become more of a rarity at receptions, but the comments and stories shared by Lorraine and Daniel’s friends and family that night painted a beautiful picture of two people who are not only deeply in love, but also genuinely kind and generous individuals.

It was such a beautiful honour to be Lorraine and Daniel’s wedding photographer and to witness the love that they share with each other. I’m so grateful have been a part of the day!
