Meet Erika and Noah, two Alabama natives who fell in love and are getting married next April!
We met up in Erika’s home town of Gadsden, AL to capture their engagement photos. It’s only about an hour away from their ceremony venue, The Lumpkin House, in Guntersville! I’m based in Birmingham, so it’s always fun to get out of the city to explore a new location during a shoot. Alabama’s beauty never fails to “wow” me!
Erika is a proud Auburn University alumna (and UAB graduate), and Noah graduated from The University of Alabama, so their household will certainly be divided during football season. Nevertheless, they find ways to overcome their differences and still love each other even in the face of rivalry. Anyone from Alabama knows that is true love.Â
Noah’s proposal was nothing short of spectacular. He got down on one knee and asked for Erika’s hand in marriage while they were on a yacht! Talk about a “wowza” moment!
From the moment Noah proposed, these two have been so genuinely excited to get married and commit their lives to each other. They came prepared to capture some beautiful engagement photos and commemorate this engagement season! I especially loved the outfits they chose, and Erika was even brave enough to change in my pop-up tent! Photographers, check out the link if clients are tired of changing in their car!
This engagement session was such a fun celebration of Erika and Noah’s love for each other! I truly can’t wait to shoot their wedding next Spring. Erika and Noah, SEE YOU THEN!!!
