Birmingham

It feels like a never left.

Forgive the cheesiness, but as soon as I drove onto Samford’s campus, I immediately felt at peace.

….Not that I hadn’t been at peace at home. I actually didn’t really want to leave! (Lots of tears, you know the deal)

But God has knit my heart to this green, plant-covered, happy place. I love the smell of rain, green and squishy grass, the view of Hodges Chapel from my window (it’s rather majestic), the courtyard outside Beeson Divinity school where I often have quiet times, fountains, choir, a chance to decorate a new room, and Chick-Fil-A on campus. Perfection.

I’m happy to be back. I’m excited about living boldly this year.
