Niki + Brenden: Prince of Peace and Park Crest

August 5th, 2023 was the day Niki and Brenden said “I do.” Their love story began at a singles’ event at Prince of Peace in Hoover, AL. Little did they know that this encounter would lead to a lifetime of happiness together. Their shared faith played a central role in their relationship, and it was only fitting that they chose to tie the knot at the very church where they had started their journey as a couple.

Niki had a sweet first look with her father who couldn’t have been more proud of his little girl.

The day of their wedding dawned with intense heat, and it seemed like the sun was determined to make its presence known. However, Niki and Brenden’s spirits were anything but dampened as they prepared to see each other for the first time.

The couple’s decision to rent out Park Crest Gardens for an extra hour turned out to be a brilliant choice. The garden’s lush surroundings provided a breathtaking backdrop, and the vibrant flowers perfectly complemented the joyful atmosphere of the day!

We took this time to take some bridal portraits as well, and Niki was practically beaming! She carried with her her grandmother’s rosary, a cherished family heirloom that added a sentimental and meaningful touch to her attire.

While Niki took bridal portraits in the sweltering heat, Brenden decided to cool down a bit. I don’t blame him!

Next, we met up with the bridal party to take some group photos! Their bridesmaids and groomsmen, dressed in elegant attire, stood by their sides with unwavering support and infectious enthusiasm. Plus, they were being good sports about the awful heat, and positive attitudes are always appreciated!

Niki and Brenden’s ceremony was not just a union of two souls in love but also a celebration of their faith and the joy that radiates when two people are meant to be together. Brenden’s father played a significant role in the ceremony as one of the priests, making the day even more special and deeply personal.

The party that followed was a beautiful celebration of the day’s events. Niki’s family hails from Cuba, and they brought the vibrant spirit of their culture to the festivities. As soon as the last bite of their delicious meal was savored, the dance floor came alive!

It was a privilege to be a part of Niki and Brenden’s special day and to witness the genuine love and happiness that they share. Additionally, it was wonderful to serve alongside all the other vendors that made this day possible! Here’s a giant “thanks” to each and every one of you!
