In 2005, my life turned upside down.
At age 12, my family moved from England to America. It rocked my world and turned my accent into a British/Southern blend! Just ask me to say "grass" or "talk" and you'll hear it. 😉
I got my first camera at age 14 and when my obsession with taking pictures of flowers subsided, people were my next subject. And I've been hooked ever since.
After growing up in Atlanta, I started at Samford University in 2011. I immediately fell in love with the Magic City of Birmingham, and started my full time photography career in 2018 after a few years in the marketing industry.
In 2022, Carli Jo Wagnon joined the team and immediately made an impact. I've promised to pay her a million dollars if she ever leaves me. If you've met her, you know how valuable she is!
The years flew by, and in fall 2023, Rebekah Willard joined as ESP's first Associate Photographer. She joined the team with passion, talent, kindness, godliness and so much fun!
Having shot 120+ weddings and hundreds more to come, I believe I was created to be a wedding photographer with a unique ability to provide a calming experience and phenomenal images that will make your jaw drop. I love a good timeline and directing couples, but I also love documenting what's happening in front of me.
I believe wedding days are for happy tears, big laughs, ordinary moments and firework-like kisses. Our unique approach blends documentary photography with timeless portraiture because weddings aren't photoshoots; they're real days full of real moments that I'm simply there to capture.
Are you ready to meet this incredible team?

Oh hey, me again.
My secret skills include speaking in a King Julien accent, losing my wallet, memorizing entire bridal parties' names, harmonizing to any song ever, creating trip itineraries that will blow you away and only packing in a carry-on for any kind of trip.
I love my cat Rosie Posie, booking plane tickets, celebrating Valentine's Day, spending time with my family and running in fields. (No, seriously).

Rebekah came to ESP as Associate Photographer in 2023 while a senior at Samford University. She's originally from Albany, Georgia and is moving to Nashville, Tennessee in May to marry her fiancé Clark! Rebekah photographs weddings under ESP and she's a lively addition to the team!
Her secret skills include being a literal violin prodigy (not a secret at all really), making "the best guacamole you've ever had", naming cars, wakeboarding and roller skating.
